Do I need a tandoor to use Tandoor Masala?
Do I need a tandoor to use Tandoor Masala?
Not at all. You can use it for tandoori-style recipes in an air fryer, oven, grill or on a tawa/pan. The cooking method creates the roasted or charred finish, while the masala builds the aromatic tandoori flavour. Air-fryer and stovetop paneer tikka are both common preparation methods.
How much Tandoor Masala should I use for paneer or vegetables?
How much Tandoor Masala should I use for paneer or vegetables?
Start with 1–2 teaspoons and adjust according to the quantity and flavour intensity you prefer. For a marinade, mix it with curd, lemon juice and a little oil before coating paneer or vegetables. This also matches the usage direction printed on your pack.
Do I need to add other masalas while making paneer tikka?
Do I need to add other masalas while making paneer tikka?
Usually, you can keep the seasoning simple. Nairuti Tandoor Masala already contains a broad blend of spices and aromatics. You may still adjust salt, chilli, lemon or other ingredients according to your recipe and personal taste. Tandoori marinades commonly combine a spice blend with yogurt and lemon rather than requiring a long list of separate masalas.
Can I use Tandoor Masala for quick cooking, or does it need long marination?
Can I use Tandoor Masala for quick cooking, or does it need long marination?
You can use it for both. A little resting time helps the marinade coat and flavour the ingredients more thoroughly, but it can also be used for quicker everyday preparations when time is short. The final intensity will depend on the ingredient, quantity and cooking method.
Why may Tandoor Masala form slight lumps? Does it contain anti-caking agents?
Why may Tandoor Masala form slight lumps? Does it contain anti-caking agents?
No. Nairuti Tandoor Masala contains no anti-caking agents and no added preservatives. Because natural spice powders can absorb moisture from the air, slight lumping may occasionally occur, especially in humid weather. This is natural for spice powders and does not by itself indicate spoilage.
For best results, keep the pack tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place and always use a clean, dry spoon.
